Should you be selling when you are networking?

When people are in front of you networking, they are there to sell you their products and services.  This is actually illogical, because no one came there to buy anything.  You will get them wanting to help you, and you will be successful networking IF you can efficiently and effectively help them advance their business and achieve their dreams.
